CURRENT PROJECTS

Hereford Motel, Albany, Texas - Hereford Motel first welcomed guests in 1952, offering a roadside haven for visitors, ranchers, hunters, and travelers alike. In 2024, my business partner and co-owner, Jason Harlow, and I undertook an extensive renovation of this 14-room Shackelford County icon, carefully preserving its historic charm while enhancing its modern appeal.

During the restoration, peeling back old paneling and drop ceilings revealed the motel’s original rock walls and stunning raised wood ceilings—features we proudly restored to honor the building’s past. Today, each custom-designed room blends natural materials, western-inspired interiors, luxury linens, and ample amenities, creating a seamless balance of history and comfort for an unforgettable stay.

Conveniently located next door to Goodnight’s Steakhouse, guests can enjoy a legendary mesquite-grilled steak before retreating just steps away to their cozy, thoughtfully restored room.

Bell Mare Hotel, Breckenridge, Texas - Once a vacant office space for 20 years, I transformed this building into a boutique hotel in 2022. Its popularity has grown so much that I am now expanding, converting the last four office spaces into additional guest rooms.

At Bell Mare Hotel, every room is uniquely designed and named, each with its own distinct character. Some of the rooms you can enjoy include The Bluebonnet, The Drover, The Antler and The Wildflower. With my love for all things Texas, I can't wait to reveal the names of the new additions—stay tuned!

Goodnight Steakhouse & Saloon, Albany, Texas  - Stepping into the shoes of the iconic Beehive Saloon after its closure was no small task—it was a responsibility I didn’t take lightly. When owner Jason Harlow put his trust in me as managing partner, I made it my mission to ensure Goodnight’s Steakhouse would be just as legendary.

Through strategic branding, an incredible team of employees, and a commitment to serving the best mesquite-grilled steaks in the state, I believe we’ve not only filled those big shoes—we’ve made our own. Beyond the food and atmosphere, I have also focused on implementing processes to keep the business within profitable margins, ensuring long-term success while maintaining the highest quality experience for our guests.

Meadowgreen Apartments, Breckenridge, Texas - Meadowgreen suffered from years of neglect due to poor management and outdated units. Brought in to revitalize the property, I spearheaded a complete exterior renovation to restore its appeal and functionality. I made it my mission to give people an opportunity to "Love Where They Live." With exterior improvements nearing completion, the focus has now shifted to modernizing the interior units, creating a fresh and inviting living space for residents. Beyond renovations, consistent management and streamlined operations will play a key role in ensuring long-term success and maximizing the property's full potential.

Hubbard Shores, Hubbard Lake, Texas - Spanning 22.068 acres with over 3,700 feet of shoreline, Hubbard Shores offers stunning panoramic views and prime waterfront access. Phase One is now complete, featuring three uniquely designed waterfront casitas inspired by Texas lake life—Blue Lagoon, The Reel Deal, and Bass Hall. Guests can also enjoy a stay at Bluecat Lodge, a scenic waterfront retreat, or experience lakeside camping with the convenience of a refresh hub, which includes six full bathrooms with dedicated his-and-hers sides.

For boating enthusiasts, Hubbard Shores features a commercial-size boat ramp, providing easy access to and from the lake.

Now underway, Phase Two will introduce 35 exclusive private waterfront RV sites, a rare and highly sought-after feature in this area. With its unbeatable location and thoughtful design, Hubbard Shores is set to become a premier lakefront destination.

FUTURE PROJECTS

The Vault, Breckenridge, Texas - One of the first buildings in downtown dating back to 1910, this historic former bank—complete with a walk-in vault—is set to be restored to its original grandeur. We plan to strip away years of outdated renovations, removing paneling to reveal the original rock walls and pulling up old shag carpet to uncover the beautiful wood floors beneath. Our vision is to transform this landmark into upscale townhomes, blending historic charm with modern luxury. To top it off, we’re creating a rooftop common area for residents and an elevated cocktail club, open to the public, where guests can enjoy expertly crafted drinks in a setting that celebrates the building’s rich history and character.

The Pines, Hubbard Lake, Texas - This hidden retreat nestled on 6.5 secluded acres, where a forest of towering pines, planted in the ‘90s, creates a truly unique getaway experience. With over 3,200 feet of pristine sandy shoreline, this property is primed for hospitality success. Plans are underway to develop a one-of-a-kind camping and glamping resort, featuring climate control luxury tents, waterfront cabins, and immersive outdoor adventures. Guests will enjoy activities like night kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, walking trails, and more, all set against the serene backdrop of this naturally stunning landscape.

Mission Statement

"There’s something deeply special and intimate about taking a neglected, forgotten building and breathing new life into it. It feels as though even abandoned spaces have a soul—echoes of laughter, memories, and moments still lingering within their walls. And when you restore them, you can almost see them come alive again—standing tall, full of confidence, ready to share their story once more.

In many ways, it mirrors life itself. We’ve all faced moments that left us feeling abandoned, but sometimes, all it takes is a little push, a helping hand, to stand tall again and smile. It’s this transformation, this revival, that fuels my passion."
